Over the last few years, we have reduced the number of countries we work in to improve our expertise in particular regions, and to follow their development. FOKUS also hopes that tighter concentration on selected geographic areas will help strengthen collaboration and coordination amongst our organizations in Norway and in relevant regions. Our 2012-2016 strategy provides more information on prioritized sub-regions.
FOKUS has a number of international partners. Our support to international and regional network-building in relevant subject areas is not limited to geographic frameworks.
