The Norwegian section of the International Women's League for Peace and Freedom (IKFF) is part of the global Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) network. IKFF bridges Norwegian women with different political and ideological perceptions, creates awareness toward abolishing political, social, economic and psychological causes of war, and works for constructive peace in an ecologically sustainable society.
IKFF in Norway has about 370 members. IKFF’s main goals are:
- Prevention of war
- Replacing violence with nonviolence in all conflicts
- Strengthening UN bodies
- Creating increased respect for cultural institutions arriving at an international economic order based on all people's needs, as opposed to profit and privileges for the few.
