Women in Forestry (JiS) an organization that works to motivate and stimulate women of all ages to participate in forestry.
This national organization has about 450 members which include: forestry owners and workers, allodial land women, students, employees of public and private forestry concerns and agriculture.
JiS was founded in 1986 and bases their organizational mission on idealism. The organization's vision is to arrive at a situation where women and men would enjoy equality in the forestry industry, so that a separate interest organization for women will be superfluous.
